Spa Etiquette

Punctuality

Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows time for you to check in, relax and enjoy some refreshments prior to your treatment. Please note that your scheduled time is your purchased time. If you arrive late, you are depriving yourself of the full spa experience as your appointment will end at the scheduled time.

Cell Phones

In order for us to provide a quiet and tranquil setting and for the comfort of all our spa guests, cell phones are prohibited. If you need to leave your cell phone on, please keep it in silent mode.

Health Concerns

Please notify a Spa receptionist before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, or any physical ailments or disabilities. This will alert our staff as far in advance as possible, enabling them to provide you with the best Spa treatment or therapy possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm Taking Medication for My Skin. Can I Still Get a Treatment?

If you are on any of the following medication please speak to your service provider. Upon consultation, if you are on Retin-A/Accutane, Avage, Tazorac, Differin or any other medications that increase skin exfoliation or compromise the skin, we will not be able to perform peels, HydraFacials or hair removal services. Peels, HydraFacials or hair removal cannot be performed on people who have recently had laser treatments, plastic surgery or a sunburn.

What should I wear to the spa and during spa treatments?

We recommend dressing comfortably. When you arrive at the spa, you will be able to change into a spa robe in slippers if you desire. We recommend changing into a spa robe if you will be receiving multiple treatments. It is not necessary for you to change into a robe for nail treatments, but don’t forget your flip flops if you will be getting a pedicure.

What kind of skincare products do you use?

We care about the health of your skin, and use the very best in skincare and cosmetics at Salon CoCo BOND Spa. We use JAn Marinin, Repechage, Skin Fitness and Glo Cosmetic. For nail care, OPI, Dazzle Dry, Essie.

I've never had a facial before; which one is best for me?

Our experienced Estheticians are able to customize any facial to your personal skincare needs. They will do a great consultation with you to figure out what will be best for you.

Do I need to let you know if I am pregnant?

Yes! We cannot perform peels, HydraFacials or reflexology through the duration of pregnancy.

How long does my hair need to be in order to receive a waxing treatment?

At least 2 weeks of hair growth is ideal for you to get the best results. Hair should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch long.

Is there anything I can do prior to a wax service to make it more comfortable?

Make sure your skin is in great condition. Be sure to exfoliate and moisturize daily. This will reduce the chance of any skin irritation from occurring. NOTE: Do not exfoliate 24 hours prior to a waxing service.

Can I still wax if I have my period?

Yes. Make sure that the area is clean and that you are wearing a tampon. Your skin may be more sensitive so you can take an aspirin or pain reliever an hour before to help.
